Strawberry Patch

We had a dock to fall in our pond several years back.  It was heavy to pull out but we managed.

It has been laying there and we decided to pull it down to the house, cut it,  turn it over, close the ends, fill it with dirt and some strawberry plants.

We hope by next year to have an established patch.

The plants are June bearing so we may be out of luck this year.

We do have a small tub of berries but we hope for a bigger crop next year.

What Spice Am I

You Are Cilantro

The bad news is that there are some people who can't stand you.

The good news is that most people love you more than anything else in the world.

You are distinct, unusual, fresh, and very controversial. And you wouldn't have it any other way.

Motorcycle Roadtrip

Follow 221 up route 8 in Virginia
to Rt 58 towards Stuart.
You will find the Free Farmers Market in Meadows Of Dan.

Look at the beans, hoop cheese, and packs of ham for sale in the above picture. They have all sorts of local vegetables and neat gift items.

This was a test trying to blog with Piccasa.
